I’m surprised to find myself liking the black and yellow third kit, for some reason. It looks a lot better with the yellow numbering and lettering, used in the Europa League, as opposed to the white standard Premier League numbering. Adidas have a hell of a job designing new kits for Ajax, as they tend to all look the same. Personally, I think that Ajax are one of those teams that have such a classic kit that its impossible to improve upon or make it look different. I hoped the three stripes on the shirt would be in red.

Liverpool and Arsenal have a very old rivalry. Excellent analysis Ned – youve hit the nail on the head re the orange hue/diamond pattern. The only point I would disagree with is on the black kit, although the black is simpler I have to say it does nothing for me. Another new kit supplier to the premier league. I see Liverpool are getting a new third kit, also. I thought the white away kit from this season might simply be retained as the third kit for next season.
1965-1968 Home Shirt
Not only was it Liverpool’s kit for the inaugural Premier Leagueseason, but it was also the first in the long-term relationship between the club and Carlsberg. The Danish beer's logo remained on the kit for the next 18 years. Liverpool became the first English professional club to have a sponsor on its shirts, after agreeing a deal with Japanese technology firm Hitachi in 1979. There are black lines on the GK home kit. GK kit is a different kit from the whole team that is why the GK kit is mostly awesome. Cleared payment cleared payment - opens in a new window or tab.

If you had played a dream league soccer game then you are the big fan of Liverpool because of Mohamed Salah the great in the team. There are three types of kits home, away and the third kit which you can customize. It is best known for its football club, which was founded on 8 March 1899. The team is currently playing in the Bundesliga, the top tier of the German football league system.
1989-1991 adidas Kit
Standard Chartered is a British multinational banking company. The home kit is used when the match is in the country or state. I was disappointed by this season’s crop of Liverpool kits.

Combined with the training gear for Europe, I think this makes for quite a cohesive 3rd kit. Ajax insisted that at first, there were no three stripes at all, but were talked round by adidas. In the early days of the contract, there were kits with the 3 stripes removed for matches, and the replica shirts had the three stripes on. Its the same with Chelsea’s kits – the shorts and the socks have hardly changed.
Other sections within the club
River Plate got their three stripes unbroken, and their shirt is one of the best and most 80s Ive seen in ages. The new Liverpool kit is okay, but thats all. It just does not have the same impact and aura as kits in the past have had, and I think its the Liver bird thats the problem. The trouble with keeping the same kit manufacturer is the sameyness of the kits. Realistically the shorts and socks have not changed from Aug 2006 through to May 2012. Liverpool needs to return to the old liver bird badge and adidas needs to return to the trefoil (can’t see them not going back at all with the “retro” being such a big theme nowadays).

Eintracht finally slipped and were relegated to 2. At the time that they were sent down alongside 1. FC Kaiserslautern, these teams were two of only four sides that had been in the Bundesliga since the league's inaugural season. It looked as though they would be out again in 1998–99, but they pulled through by beating defending champions Kaiserslautern 5–1, while 1. FC Nürnberg unexpectedly lost at home to give Eintracht the break they needed to stay up. The club was plagued by financial difficulties again in 2004 before once more being relegated.
Do you know what the kids would call this today? It’s one of the sauciest kits the club has ever produced, and just think of the players that wore this kit. We’re talking about John Barnes, Peter Beardsley, Jan Mølby, and Ian Rush. This was the club's centenary kit and, truth be told, it has to be on the list.

Whilst I think the new Liverpool kit is nice enough, I can’t help but feel that too often adidas kits resemble templates, even with the odd unique design flourishes. The solution to this is to do away with the three stripes on the odd design. The exposure of supplying big teams should be sufficient. The club's original rival was Frankfurt city-rival FSV Frankfurt. In both clubs' early years, there used to be a fierce rivalry, but after World War II Eintracht proved to be the stronger club and the ways parted and the rivalry deteriorated due to lack of contact. Nowadays, the fan relations tend to be friendly.
Grab the “LiverpoolDream League Soccer Logo“. The name of the club is also written on the club logo. Liverpool is the club of the Premier League.
The Liverpool shirt for me has always been defined by it’s sponsor. While for me, Standard Charter is not as immediately iconic as Hitachi, Crown Paints, Candy or Carlsberg it could have been a lot worse. Have to agree with you about the adidas kits this year, the majority have been disapointing with too many templates. The kit database on Football Kit Archive includes 98,423 kits from 5,146 teams in 659 leagues, made by 1,522 brands and submitted by 659 users.
It was such a breathtaking design from New Balance. But the kit, well that’s something we can dig. This was the saving grace for the season - a stylish little number that sported names such as Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge - Liverpool’s very own SAS. They have had their success in some pretty spectacular shirts, too.
